The commitment

Manner Health Solutions does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, marital status, or immigration status. Everyone gets the same access to the same options and the same honest comparison.

This is not only a legal position. A health-insurance broker is often the first person who explains any of this to someone in plain terms, and who that person happens to be is not a relevant input.

Language assistance, at no cost to you

I speak English and Spanish. If it is easier for you, we can do all of this in Spanish, including the paperwork.

If your language is not one of those two, contact me anyway. Free language assistance can be arranged, and carriers are separately required to provide interpretation for their own plan materials. You should never have to accept a worse explanation because of the language you think in.

Auxiliary aids for people with disabilities

Free aids and services are available to help us communicate effectively, including written information in other formats and accessible electronic formats. If you need something in particular, ask — it is a normal request and you will not be asked to justify it. See also the Accessibility Statement.

Tell me first: andres@yourmhs.com. I want to know, and raising it will never affect how you are treated.

You may also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, electronically through its Complaint Portal at ocrportal.hhs.gov, or by mail or phone. Your state’s department of insurance also takes complaints about licensed producers.
